Ontario Immediate Family Wellness Program 04/05/24 - OPFFA On April 5th, the Ontario government announced its $3.18 million investment in the Ontario Immediate Family Wellness Program.  This program is aimed at supporting the families of first responders who are killed in the line of duty or have died by suicide.  The funding will provide free rapid bereavement counselling for up to two years following the death of a loved one.

Empowering Youth: Councilman Rodriguez, Firefighters, and Local Business’ Unite 03/14/24 - IAFF Local 4492 Councilman Mark Rodriguez is the City Council Liaison to the Sierra Vista Youth Commission, who are blazing a trail for our local youth. The commission partnered with Peach's Pantry to create the Youth Leadership Fund. Through that fund, the Professional Firefighters of Sierra Vista, local businesses, and donors are able to contribute to their efforts.
